This book is about perfecting and completing the revision of the Qur’an within a month maximum with evidences from the original sources-the Qur’an and authentic Hadith based on the understanding of the salaf, the best early generations. It includes the contributions of the world’s top, leading, well-reputed and prominent scholars. The best method for revising the Qur’an is constant quantified spaced repetition of five portions each day with a teacher, daily testing, and teaching it to others. The Prophet peace be upon him said: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنَّ أَفْضَلَكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ ‏"‏‏.‏ .Narrated `Uthman bin `Affan: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The most superior among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." [ Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 6, Book 61, Hadith 546]. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، نَحْوَهُ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ عِنْدَنَا مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ‏.‏Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The one who memorized the Qur'an shall come on the Day of Judgement and (the reward for reciting the Qur'an) says: 'O Lord! Decorate him." So he is donned with a crown of nobility. Then it says: "O Lord! Give him more!' So he is donned with a suit of nobility. Then it says: "O Lord! Be pleased with him.' So He is pleased with him and says: "Recite and rise up, and be increased in reward with every Ayah.'" [Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 5, Book 42, Hadith 2915]. It is essential that the student of knowledge treads the path of knowledge upon a correct methodology. If the methodology is a correct one he will see promising results, however if the methodology is an incorrect one he will see insufficient or no results. He must ground himself in every subject he wishes to study by perfecting its basics. Perfection of five portions of the Quran daily, involves reciting five portion of the Quran throughout the day, with the aim of mastering it through repetition and focused recitation.
